Costa Quebrada gathers a quite diverse series of rocks and landforms. Throughout its territory, and specially along the coastal fringe, it is possible to find high value geologic and geomorphologic sites. These rare jewels, in which the history of planet Earth and this particular place in the globe are brilliantly displayed, deserve to be visited and known by everyone interested in the evolution of the world we live in.

The most interesting sites from scientific, teaching and scenic perspectives have been included. Visiting them provides us with a rather comprehensive global idea of what this privileged area has to tell us.
