If you want to join the Costa Quebrada association, it is as easy as paying the membership fee. This subscription is also an application for membership.
Once we receive the personal information associated with the fee, the Board of Directors will formally approve your membership so that we can invite you to the next meeting, event or assembly of members.

THE ASSOCIATION COSTA QUEBRADA

• The Costa Quebrada Association was legally constituted in 2003 to formalize a citizens’ collective (the Group for the Recovery of Costa Quebrada) formed at the end of 2002 in response to the Prestige oil slick.
• The organization is registered in the Register of Associations of Cantabria, with registration number 3383.
• The association is also registered in the municipal registry of Santa Cruz de Bezana.
• Its statutory purposes are the protection and enhancement of the coastline of Cantabria, and in particular, the coastal area that receives the name of Costa Quebrada.
• The Board of Directors is composed of a Presidency, a Vice-Presidency and a Secretary-Treasurer.
• The positions on the Board of Directors, appointed by the Assembly, are free of charge and their holders do not receive any remuneration for the exercise of their statutory functions.
• The association, based since its inception on volunteer work, also has a technical staff in charge of the most demanding lines of work in terms of workload and responsibility.
• Personnel and material expenses are financed through agreements and other arrangements, as well as various self-financing initiatives, which together contribute to sustaining the management structure and the expenses associated with the activity.
• The technical team is organized into work areas, each with at least one person in charge.
